Who you'll work with

Key Responsibilities:

Client Network Architecture and Management:Assess and design network infrastructure solutions for clients, including the configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Architect and deploy scalable, high-performance network solutions tailored to clients’ business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Systems and Application Administration:Administer client business applications, including those hosted in Microsoft Azure and Office365 environments, ensuring they meet operational and performance standards.
Guide clients through the deployment, configuration, and management of their systems and applications, offering best practices to maximize productivity and security.
Ensure that client applications are secure, well-maintained, and aligned with their business requirements.
Security Consulting and Implementation:Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for client networks and applications, ensuring they are protected from potential threats.
Advise clients on security best practices for network infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant security standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
Provide guidance on incident response protocols and disaster recovery planning.
Device and Endpoint Management:Provide expertise on endpoint and device management solutions, including the configuration and security of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT devices.
Recommend and deploy mobile device management (MDM) solutions to ensure secure device access and usage for remote employees.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor client networks and systems for performance, reliability, and security, recommending improvements where necessary.
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or security vulnerabilities in the client's infrastructure and applications.
Consulting and Documentation:Create and present detailed reports on network and application performance, including security audits, recommendations, and action plans.
Provide thorough documentation of network configurations, security protocols, and system setups for clients.
Offer ongoing consultations to ensure that clients stay ahead of technological changes and industry standards.
Project Management and Collaboration:Lead and contribute to network upgrades, cloud migrations, security improvements, and other client IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Work closely with client teams to understand their specific business challenges and design tailored solutions.
Assist clients in evaluating and selecting new technology vendors or solutions.

What you'll do

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, network management, or related field.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, Office365, and business application management in cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPN technologies.
Expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, including experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
In-depth understanding of security tools and practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
Proficiency in managing device and endpoint security, including mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and network optimization strategies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for network and application-related issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Office365, or similar certifications.
Experience with network security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for system and network management.
ITIL or other IT service management (ITSM) certifications.

Your experience in Microsoft Azure, Office365, network protocols, security management, and device management will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their business goals through improved and reliable IT systems.

This position involves collaborating with clients on a variety of projects, from network infrastructure upgrades to cloud migrations and security enhancements, providing both tactical and strategic IT expertise.
