Who you'll work with

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory).
Lead the architecture of cloud-native solutions that are highly available, secure, and scalable.
Ensure optimal configuration and performance of cloud resources, proactively identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.
Automation and Deployment:Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications and infrastructure, ensuring efficient, automated deployments and updates.
Implement automated scaling, backups, and recovery strategies for high-availability cloud solutions.
Cloud Security and Governance:Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with best practices, including managing identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
Implement security controls using Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other cloud-native security tools to monitor and safeguard cloud assets.
Set up and manage cloud governance frameworks to ensure proper access controls, auditing, and compliance with industry standards.
Cloud Monitoring and Performance Optimization:Implement and configure monitoring and alerting for cloud infrastructure using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in cloud systems, providing recommendations and executing performance optimization strategies.
Analyze usage patterns to optimize resource allocation, minimize waste, and ensure cost-effective scaling of cloud resources.
Collaboration and Support:Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth cloud platform operations and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Provide expert guidance and support in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cloud infrastructure solutions align with business objectives, delivering both flexibility and performance.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure cloud-based applications and data are backed up and recoverable.
Ensure proper configuration of cloud-based high availability (HA) and load balancing to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
Regularly test disaster recovery plans and update them to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
Cloud Cost Management:Monitor and analyze cloud spending to ensure cost efficiency, recommending and implementing strategies for cost reduction without sacrificing performance.
Implement cost optimization practices, including right-sizing of resources, auto-scaling, and choosing appropriate pricing tiers for cloud services.
Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts, ensuring stakeholders understand cloud expenditures and the impact of resource decisions.

What you'll do

6+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including infrastructure management, automation, and security.
Strong proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Networking, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Active Directory, and Azure App Services.
Experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, firewalls, and network security.
Strong experience with cloud automation tools and CI/CD pipelines for efficient application and infrastructure deployment.
Proficiency in Azure monitoring and logging tools, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Solid understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and backup solutions in the cloud.
Familiarity with Azure cost management tools and best practices for optimizing cloud spending.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker.
Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

Preferred Skills:

Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access control (RBAC), and Azure Identity Protection.
Familiarity with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and other serverless computing services.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises systems with Azure.
Experience with cloud migration strategies and moving workloads to Azure from on-premises or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
Knowledge of Azure-based machine learning services, including Azure ML and AI integration.
